Here are some of our frequently asked questions. If your question is not answered here or you require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.

What if I don’t have time for a full day tour?
If you don’t have time for a full day of shopping, you can book the half day Best of Everything” tour which is the morning only of the full day “Best of Everything” tour.  Alternatively, check out our “Private Custom” tours which can be tailored to your full or half day requirements.

My partner isn’t much of a shopper – will they enjoy this tour?
Although they may not enjoy shopping, this is more than just a shopping tour!  Everyone really does enjoy this tour, we have a lot of interesting facts and information to impart, we talk about the history, the people, Shanghai, the culture and can answer questions about daily life and living in Shanghai. Our guides are all very friendly and approachable and they are there to ensure everyone has a great day out.  Customers really enjoys this added aspect of the tour and it’s great being able to sit down with a beer at the fabulous lunch!  If they aren’t enjoying the day, we are happy to help your partner get a taxi back to their hotel at any stage (we haven’t had anyone take us up on this yet!).

What if I have a large group of people?
If you have a large group, we may be able to accommodate your group on their own bus or tailor a shopping solution to meet your groups needs. Please contact us with your requirements.

Can I do a tour in the weekend?
Our Private Custom tour is available any day of the week. We do not currently offer the “Best of Everything tour in the weekend, however if there are 4 or more of you, we could offer the private Best of Everything tour for your group which does include pick up and drop off at a centrally located hotel.  Please use the book now button and write your requirements in the notes, we will do our best to accommodate you.

What if I have a special dietary requirement?
The lunch provided caters well for vegetarians and can be adjusted for gluten free.  If you have other meal requirements, we can organise special meals at a nominal extra cost, please contact us 3 days in advance to ensure this is catered for.

Are people in wheelchairs catered for on this tour?
Unfortunately, many of the places we visit during the tour are not wheelchair accessible. However, we can usually cater for wheelchair customers under our custom tours, please ensure we are aware of all requirements when sending your enquiry.

What if I have specific shopping requirements?
Our “Best of Everything” tour covers the widest possible array of shopping opportunities. If you have specific requirements, our “Private Custom tour may be more suitable for you. Please contact us with your wish list and we can advise how we can achieve this for you.

I don’t have time to do a tour but I want to get suits made – can you help me?
Yes, we can organize for a tailor to come to your hotel and measure you up for suits, we refer to this as our “Custom Tailoring”. There is a fixed price to organize this for you and you will receive our preferred pricing, delivery and follow up from us if required (eg if you need the items posted). Just choose the custom tailoring option on the BOOK NOW page.

Do I have to buy in the shops you take me to?
No, you are welcome to just browse and see what is available, there is no pressure to purchase at ANY of our stops, we have hand picked our favorite shopping spots though so it could be hard not to buy something!
